I am needing to replace the receive connector on a Kenwood TKR-750 repeater.
The existing connector is a Female BNC Chasis mount. I am doing away with the
LMR400 interconnects inside the cabinet and upgrading to 1/2'' Superflex. Since
no one makes a BNC connector for 1/2 hardline I would like
I would leave the BNC's and use RG400 or 1/4 superflex or similar within the
cabinet. Not sure how much advantage 1/2 would have inside the cabinet, and
may be tough to make the real tight radius bends.

We use 1/4 superflex in all of our cabinets for 800 MHz systems on the receive
side so at VHF it should work just as well. Plus, there are BNC connectors for
the 1/4 superflex.

I connected the OPC-617 as you said but i didnt solder the D or F bead and is
probly why it didnt work. when i recieve audio it comes out the little speaker
inside the radio and the PTT wont work to let me transmit. Im not using any
data so i guess i need to solder the D bead, is this
