I recently added another client to the backups. Using AppleShare I loaded the 4.2 client software onto the Macintosh. Everything loaded fine, I restarted, etc. Once back at the backup computer (BW G3, Retrospect 4.2) I checked the client list, and the recently added client showed up, but with

Tape Drive capaciity wrong

Another problem I am having is... I am using a Exabyte EZ17 autoloader. The tapes are 20GB uncompressed and 40GB 2:1, yet only about 10 GB is fitting on each tape. Why? I have hardware compression on and Software compression off. Is there anything I can do to get more data on each tape? --
