Re: Imation superdrive and Retro Express

2000-01-25 Thread Matthew Tevenan

Robin,

Did you just update to Mac OS 9? Anyone doing backups to removable disks
with Retrospect or Retrospect Express under Mac OS 9 _MUST_ update to
Retrospect 4.2 or Retrospect Express 4.1E (respectively) for best
compatibility.

These updates are available at

<http://www.dantz.com/index.php3?SCREEN=updates>

(Users with versions of Retrospect proper older than 4.1 must purchase the
upgrade to 4.2. Contact our Customer Service Department at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] or 800.982.9980 within the U.S.)

If this doesn't help, please contact tech support directly.

Imation superdrive and Retro Express

2000-01-25 Thread Robin Bateman

Hi All

Has anyone seen this/got an answer?

New iMAC with Imation superdrive and bundled copy of retro express

run a backup and what happens is the disk is spat out and I get the
following message in the log

Trouble Writing "XXX" (71139328) error 100 (device rejected command)

I don't think it it the disk (media) as I tried 3 brand new 120 Mb
superdisks

Anyone seen this?

TIA
