Where are you seeing that it wants to connect to GitHub? It shouldn't try
that unless you've set the repository to talk to GitHub.
I don't believe you'll end up going through the proxy for this, at least not
on Review Board server when talking to Subversion.

You could use it for either. It's maybe not perfect during a meeting
but it does mean that
you have a full record of all the comments.

This is how we started using reviewboard: we would use it more as meeting
notes during a conference room code review.
We progressed through that by everyone reviewing the code and leaving notes,
then meeting in the conference room to go over them, but dropped the face to
face part shortly afterwar

In my inquiries I found out that when I want to add my repo, reviewboard
wants to connect to github. Why?
Do I have to change some settings in reviewboad when I am behind a proxy?
