Re: New comment moderation in effect

2015-03-05 Thread Christian Hammond
Hi Josephine,

This is best as a new topic and not a reply to this thread. Can you create a
new thread and describe what changes have been made to the server recently,
what version of Review Board you're running, what OS, along with any other
information you can think of? Not having access to your server or any control
over it, I wouldn't be able to say otherwise.

Thanks,

Christian

 Christian,

Has there been any recent change with reviewboard? My web page is suddenly
broken like there is missing CSS . Seems like python is not compatible
??. I don't see any ob vious errors in the logs.

How do I go about fixing this?

MySQL and utf8 character set

2015-03-05 Thread B Cran
I noticed
in
https://www.reviewboard.org/docs/manual/2.0/admin/installation/creating-sites/#creating-sites

that it recommends setting the character set for MySQL to 'utf8'. Is that
correct, or should it be 'utf8mb4' which supports the full utf8 character
set (see https://mathiasbynens.be/notes/mysql-utf8mb4)?

Also, the 'Changing permissions' section is outdated and is missing the
static directory.

I also noticed that 'rb-site install' no longer gives you the option of
choosing which Python loader to use, so the sentence The configuration
file will be based on the web server type and Python loader you’ve
specified. and others could be updated.
