Is there a way to restrict access to a specified LDAP group? I see there's
an option when using AD authentication, but I can't get it to work - I
think because I need to use the login details that are only available when
using LDAP.

You just have to reinstall the Review Board modules using Python 2.7.
You can (and do) have multiple versions of Python installed on the same
system. There's no need to try to upgrade Python itself.
