Hi Warren
Maybe look at the Grsync to manually backup the audio and database (set
up database backup in RDadmin first to the desired folder)
Hope this helps

Hi All,
Had RRaBuntu on air for around 5 weeks now - all working well.
Now I'm building another Rivendell computer as a (server) backup.
Hot Standby would be good, but looks quite difficult.
Is there a simple (Ubuntu) tool to manually backup the audio and sql to another
machine.
Thanks

Hello.
I am in a set up requiring I have some sort of compressed audio. I use
mp2... saved as wav. Problem is though even if I have sound panel buttons
set to allow for pause, the audio itself starts over when I resume the
button.
Say if a button has 30 second audio clip. I pause it at 3 seconds

These (along with most cards based on the ICE1712 chipset, like the Delta 44's
bigger siblings the 66 and 1010) work quite well with Rivendell on the software
side. The analog side is decent

Pretty sure you're out of luck - I have literally a pile of about 20
huge GPIO cards on ISA (including a few 142 bit I/O cards!), but they're
totally useless to me and I've found no cheap way to do bus adaptation.
Buying an old P2/P3 system is one option but they're quite a rarity
these days.
Hello all,
I've discovered an interesting audio card I'd forgotten about in storage and
wondering if it's been tried with Rivendell/Ubuntu. It's an Antex 23e. However,
as you may know, it's more than a decade old so the real problem is
connectivity (i.e. ISA full length). Am I out of luck, or
Solved the problem!
Hosts have to be entered on the master server and the default service

They have a great series of cards that work, the half height is a handicap.
I use Audiophile 2496 and yes it's unbalanced but it has digital as well.
Delta 44 is OK too , have one install with that.
adjust with alsamixer
If the audio feed is too high a simple pad will solve the

I've been using the Behringer UCA202 for over two years now to get analog audio
into an iBook to create a stream. It has gone into shock 3 or 4 times, (starts
distorting badly) but after a reset it will run for days, weeks, or months.
Haven't had to deal with it for many months now, it just work
