I have a new http noticias service that will not download on 2 Mint 17 computers running Rivendell 2.10.3 used for monitoring downloads.  Loads fine on the Centos 7 running 2.19. I can download on the Mints with Firefox, lftp, and wget with no problem.  The error in syslog says: Dec  4 13:27

These past few years, I prefer the HP enterprise machines over the Dells and both Dell/HP over any white-box machines. We only buy off-lease refurbs. It's cost-effective and Rivendell/audio work does not require the latest and greatest processors and you cannot build a new machine for the cost

In my experience, Dell machines don't take industry standard parts. If a power supply fails, you need a Dell power supply, and one for that particular model, as they are not necessarily the same from model to model. I prefer machines that use standard ATX power supplies, standard CD/DVD-RW
