In my case, all of the files in question play fine on VLC and open and
play without problems in Audacity (WAV files on my system). The Library
sees the files, but refuses to admit there is audio in them, when
clearly there is.

It might be easier to just replace it with a CIFS share.
Cheers!

Well, if history is any teacher, it'll be M$ own interpretation of exactly
and precisely what NFS *should* do in their
Greetings,
Here's one for you.
Having a situation where rdairplay on a client machine, meaning audio store
and mysql are not located locally, starts having dropouts of audio and
trouble connecting to the database. Many rivendell machines on this system
and this is the only one with the problem.
Tim,
I hope things are going well with you. I still think of Dave fondly.

Had a thought...
If I'm understanding correctly, the audio is playing off of a box.
That box is also providing nfs to a M$
Or as Drew said, route through a third party.

Greetings,
Well we had previously used a cifs connection to the windows box, but the
mount point being in the user directory would cause the file manager
sometimes 15 minutes to populate waiting on the windows box. This made it
rdlogmanger lockup when trying to create a log as it was looking for

How did you get windows
Microsoft has made an NFS client for a while, I admit I have not tried
it and I don't know how well it works.
For Windows 7 or later it can be found in Control panel -> Programs and
Features -> Turn Windows features on or off, then scroll down the list
to find "services for NFS"
In XP and

Some things to
I’m curious to see if anybody has tried to install Rivendell under the Linux
environment that was made available to Windows 10 during the fall creators
update. I was thinking about playing around with it to see if I can make
Rivendell work. But, I figured I’d ask here first just in case someone

Once you’ve got the test tone playing, you’re 90% there.
Here’s the Fred (aka “The Command-Line Troglodyte”) method:
Guys,
I tried the install via Centos7 minimal, worked like a charm.
Within 30 minutes I had rdairplay playing the testone.
But I ran into some trouble when I wanted to get our database (2.10)
scheme 207 into the system.
I used to do this via Rdadmin => 'Database restore' on our old 2.10
system,
Correction : our old version was 2.2.0 scheme 207
