Hi there,

And happy new year 2024.
Seems like there is an issue with the way gst1-libav detects it's

H264/H265 codec support are missing even after enabling the
ffmpeg-libs or libavcodec-freeworld.

According to pkgdb, this is still the case, but none has updated this

Good news is that we now have a dedicated el9-next-free target

There is a dedicated dist tag (.el9.next) same as in fedora but we
don't have dedicated branches yet. so we need to accommodate and build

outdated 8.5 CentOS LInux, I've had a look to use our RHEL
subscription to access newer content.
Unfortunately, this didn't went so good and while I haven't saw any
issue to use a subscribed Fedora(34) builders to

Hi there,
FYI, I've created the basic layout to have el9-free and el9-nonfree
koji targets (not yet ready for el9-next-free). This is using the
CentOS Stream repositories for now with an .el9 dist tag. (same as
EPEL).
I've requested several packages to be branched for el9, but please
verify

a dedicated koji side tag.
The goal is to have it ready by f36, so no rush,
