As Dominic and Kenneth pointed out, the planning should be simple but
carefully crafted.
Basically, having a new RT server installation, configured, tested and
running and a DB dump / restore will do the trick.
I only missed tips regarding special attention to the DNS / MX part of the
solution.

Thanks Ruslan,
It would be nice to update the examples in rt-shredder inline examples (
--help ).
Thanks again,
Andy,
I followed these steps, following the UPGRADING UPGRADING.mysql docs and
other messages in this list, in particular, Tim Cutts and Ruslan posts[1]:

This probably is not the right forum to ask, but as this is a RT related

Hi,
The fix for a problem like this - if it is the same one reported before - is
in 2.04 and above versions of the Text::Quoted module. For us, the version
2.05 solved an issue like you reported.
Don't forget to stop/start the webserver.

Hi Team,
I was wondering if keyboard shortcuts would be a desirable feature
for RT, similar to Gmail + Better Gmail Firefox extension.

Community help:
Greetings,
In our production server, it takes approx. 01:27min. to wipeout a

For instance, if we use the RTx-Shredder WebUI (RT v3.6. ) to wipeout
only 10 tickets, it locks the sessions and gives a timeout error

Taking a ride on this thread, I think that it would be interesting to
have the option of using tooltips on the CF's descriptions and other
fields of RT interface.
Maybe this would make it easier for users to enjoy RT's features and
to every user to recall how to use the less frequent used ones.

Recently our RT database backup script started to show this message.

Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance,
