How can i Check that everything is OK with that size?
if u check it on unix/linux:
du -h /path/to/your/profiles/username
if u check it on the windows client, look at:
c:\documents an properties\use4rname
right mouse click and
yes, but not here in the samba list.
please refer the SuSE/Pinnacle homepage...

why? I have, no difference.
u used root/data as owner for this share, so, i thought, nobody is not
member of data nor root! - read access. - samba could not write to this
directory.
how about the client users / are they member of data?
which owner/rights is, after creating a file in there?
you have to put in the domain admin group / the domain admin user into
the local admin group, this will help.

may be, thats a problem of the x-flag in the linux filesystem.
in older versions u could set e.g. 0640 for a directory.
in newer samba versions u need e.g. 0750 instead...

hello jason,
we are using successful netlogon over years. - at first we had similar
problems. the reason lied in the batch file:
1) the batch was written on linux, so the CR was missing at the end of
the line...
2) we used net use without the /y flag - windows did not rebind the
drive, but
sometimes we have a problem with w2k/xp machines with the same message:
the reason is broken userrights at the *workstation* (sometimes they
loose *all* rights for a view directories).
look for that...
