How can i remotely shutdown machines joined to Samba4 PDC? I tried:
$ net rpc shutdown -C comment -I IPADDRESS -U USERNAME%PASSWORD
using domain admin username and account but it does not work. I was only
able to shutdown 1 XP machine. Vista and 7 didn't work. Do i have to add
some

that matter)
One downside - this will install additional service winexesvc and
issue commands (between ) in plain text.
If you specify -U DOMAIN/User%password (instead of default

I done joining the Samba 4.0.9 Domain Controller to the existing 2003 domain
Transfer all roles to samba4
Down in Windows 2003 server
Add client windows to domain!
But client windows not update DNS in samba4.
Any ideas ?

And which Linux client are you trying to use? Very old versions of Samba
can still work, somewhat, but be very difficult to integrate. Very new
versions of Samba have a lot of features that your old CIFS server,
whatever it is, may not know about and may not support.
