I think that since the "How it feels" art
was kind
of trite and easy, this is just nice to see.
what? trite? that is an awful thing to say esp. considering the fact that
all of the how it feels art is original art from the same guy who did the
diary art. (im sure everyone knew that
i got a chance to hear the whole record. its really really good. and does
sound a little more like diary. its really guitar driven and alot heavier
than HIFTBSO. nice

ok kids. i listened to an advance copy of the new album today, and ill say
with full confidence that noone will be dissapointed with this one. enough
diary for the diary fans, and enough HIF for the HIF fans. Theres weird
stuff, poppy stuff, punky stuff, but all in all, absolutely fantastic.
theyve played a few times in california. (los angeles, irvine, santa cruz,
etc...) even on seperate tours. they played kroq's almost acoustic xmas a
while back with out dan. dan was the one who didnt want to play cali (back
in the diary/lp2 days) cos it was the center of commercialism. los
first off, id like to set the record straight. what is all this talk about
sunny day not using their own equiptment? everything they used was theirs.
i swear it. jeremy and dan have three guitars each, and dan and jeremy were
both using the exact same stuff, amps and all, that they used when
for anyone whos interested...i heard, and i think that its a definate thing,
that sunny day is also playing july 6th at some hole in the wall club called
the yukatan, on state st. in santa barbaraits all ages and pretty cheap,
but most of all, its a way small club

i know this is alil off the subject, but it does pertain to tuning, which sunny day
does alot of, right...
so here it is...i ve heard stuff about the promise ring and their "C" tuning. and i
was wondering what it is...it cant be all of the strings tuned down two steps, can it?
i mean, the
ee sources, it is really expensive and cigarette companies (at 2
cents a pack) dont go for the expensive stuff.
thats it...sorry for taking up your space, but i was sick of answering all of the
emails privately, i gotta go to bednitey nite.

The term "sellout" means he did it for the money. Can you
really say he did that?... I really doubt money has anything to do with Nate's
decision.
these statements are all false...
in an interview with the boys, when asked why nate did not come back they (dan and
will) said that when he was
so i got to thinking about lyrics, after reading posts like this...
does anyone else find it amazing that humans could write such amazing lyrics? as a
musician myself, i often (who am i kidding), always find it rather difficult to come
up with a decent set of lyrics, and when i do, i feel
personally (like my opinion matters any), i think that jeff is the better of the two
bassists in ssdre (that have anything on tape), ive only heard joe play other's stuff,
so i dont have a decent impression of how good he really is, but he seems to be a
tight bassist...very good...but to me,
so, sdre has been on mtv, and that was a few years ago...they were also
on kroq, in fact a friend of mine has a "new music sampler" with in
circles on it. they were even on kroq's almost acoustic x-mas...
my point is: that they were supposed to be big, they were shown to the
public, and they
