I've actually been trying to think of this from Nate's perspective. Maybe in his mind, the band was done, over with, finished, finito, etc. WHy try to recapture the youthful energy and excitement they had, just let the band be, keep it how it was, let their two albums be a nice representation

IMHO, i don't think that they'd be so quick to let Nate back in the band. i think that the animosity with Nate resides most in Will, and that's partly misdirected dislike for Dave Grohl. overhearing Will talk about his Foo experience outside their show at the Norva Theatre, Norfolk, VA this
