Hello All,
Per Robinorad's comments below, I have to agree that I was
slightly disappointed with the vocal mix on the SDRE "Live" CD. I, too,
feel that Jeremy's voice could have been treated with less reverb.
Overall, I am pleased with this show. Particularly, listening to "Days"
off this
does anyone know have or know
where i can find mp3s of SDRE's
rare 7" material. any help is
appreciated.

okay. here's my opinion. (and i've been holding out on this for a long
time)okay, i'm a HUGE fan of sdre.BUT i just can't help but cringe
when i hear jeremy do the old diary and lp2 songs live now. i mean he JUST
WON'T SCREAM! it drives me crazy. i know it's petty...but the reason why
it almost feels silly to me saying which SDRE album "most touched me".
i think that SDRE in HIFTBSO isn't the same SDRE that made the previous LP2
and Diary. The absence of Mendel has made a HUGE sound change in the
band... i mean could think new guy come up with the bass line to Grendel

But to be completely honest, I can
see why the band might have wanted to do something different with
the video, it's a bit lackluster in production, a good show, but I
think the band would have wanted to do something more artsy, a la Meeting

Yeah that would be cool if they
I believe you recomend albums to people dependent on what they like. For

someone prefers pop, suggest HIFTBSO. I believe the best album for a punk
kid would be LP2. For someone who enjoys classical music, let them listen
hi. this may be a stupid question, but just attribute it to my being "one of
the new guys".
why, on both live recordings of rodeo jones, does the band not play the
"rodeo jones" part in the end? i'd think that that part of the song is sort
of important, to a certain extent.

i was browsing the sunny day page and came upon a pole. it mentioned the
release of the odds and ends record. i dig sunny day a lot, but i have no
idea what this is. i was wondering if somebody could clear it up for me.
also, i had heard that sdre had written like 13 or so songs after
ive sat by long enough and not said a word
people expect a great live band to consist of jumping around and yelling at
the highest point of the heavens
not true/so
radiohead are looked at by some to be an amazing live band and yet they are
shoegazers to a certain extent
the music flows out of
