e foo bar", but we were
capturing events, you'd end up with:
fireEvent foo click
type foo bar
Or worse:
fireEvent foo click
fireEvent foo keypress (b)
fireEvent foo keypress (a)
fireEvent foo keypress (r)
Any thoughts?

I agree with Tres -- packet listeners will never do the trick (and that
is why many of the commercial products today suck big time).
I'll look in to the mozilla links provided. Does anyone else have any
thoughts on this?

Vijay, Jaun,
Please email me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] with your progress. I'd love to
help out. It is my belief that a recorder is critical to any acceptance

This is absolutely fantastic. Another similar project has a home page at
http://seleniumrecorder.mozdev.org/
I strongly encourage everyone to work together on this, rather than
fragment the effort in building a rich editor.

I noticed the same thing last night. I don't believe it has anything to
do with OpenQA.

I agree. There is a wiki space set up at wiki.openqa.org, and since
there isn't a ton of content, perhaps we can just copy it over by hand?

would you like to handle the mailing list migration? The forums and new mailing lists are up and in sync with each other.

Contegix does an amazing job keeping OpenSymphony up and I am sure they
will do the same for OpenQA. Eventually I may need to upgrade the server
itself, but it should last for a while.

I agree as well. Can someone who maintains the lists send me the

I've asked that the attachments directory be sent to me as soon as possible.
Should be just a couple days now and we'll be all sorted out.

The mailing list at OpenQA is up and syncing with the forums. But we
need to shut this list down and forward emails to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] We also should get the list of subscribers so I
can auto-subscribe them to the dev list on openqa.
Ditto for the users list.
