There should be no problem with relay life in this case as the main cause of relay failure is from high current damaging the contacts. Colloidal silver generation is usually done with very low currents. Dan On Sun, Apr 12, 2020 at 1:13 PM Gm Gm wrote: > Hi there: >Just wondering

You can turn a transistor on and off with DC just fine. H Bridge inside? On Mon, Apr 13, 2020 at 9:12 PM Marshall wrote: > Most SSR's use triacs, and will only work on AC. > > Marshall > > On 4/13/2020 9:01 AM, Ode Coyote wrote: > > You can get solid state relays with no contacts to EVER wear

No impact from stirring...it's about what is on the electrodes. Silver oxide and silver hydroxide. Changing electro chemical by products back into ions takes energy as a 'buildup' gets un-built. Current stays constant as voltage drop to keep that current constant flattens out for about 20

There is about 20 seconds after a shift that things unwind then rewind the other way and nothing much happens. A one minute cycle will be quite slow. A five minute cycle with 20 seconds missing is a lot faster. You will want the electrodes far enough away from each other that the ions don't make

BTW, the one minute I use, is for each polarity. So it is really only 30 full cycles per hour. Marshall On 4/12/2020 2:12 PM, Gm Gm wrote: Hi there: Just wondering if anyone has done any experimenting with the timing for polarity reversal. Not doubting the 1 minute at all. But

All I know is I have used one for over 2 decades, and made several thousand gallons of CS and it is still going strong. If you cycle too fast, then the efficiency will decrease. For a second or so after switching ions will be returning to the electrodes, and plating out. I think you want

Hi there: Just wondering if anyone has done any experimenting with the timing for polarity reversal. Not doubting the 1 minute at all. But at that rate, that would be 60 cycles an hour, and 600 cycles for a 10 hour brew. Since I make several brews at a time, that is a lot of wear and
