If only using pure silver and pure water, shelf life is virtually
infinite, even when sitting in direct sunlight for years.
It's best to not freeze it or exceed 120 deg Fstore at room temp.

Hi Aldona,
If you live in the USA then distilled water is very readily available and
cheap. It seems that in most other countries in the world it is difficult to
get distilled water and its expensive.
Making CS with distilled water should give a product with an almost
indefinite shelf life.
Below are my rationalisations regarding some of your points raised.

Hi Linda,
Tyndall is not a good thing!!! What you see with Tyndall is pasrticles. So all
of the particles have settled to the bottom and whast you have left is pure
ionic silver solution, which is GREAT STUFF!!!
Don't shake it. Let the junk settle and carefully pour off the good stuff!!!

My experience of many years would answer: If in doubt, throw it out! I'd
maybe put it on some plants that might use a boost--If they turn blue-gray,
they might look better. Do you use metal lids on your containers? If yes,
I'd at least cover the liquid with plastic wrap to prevent any metal from
Morning Marshall,
Throw it away.
I too have wondered about the shelf life. Typically, I use each batch
I make within 30 days.
A few years ago, I gave a bottle to a friend. He solved some skin problem
he had for years, and have seen a number of doctors including dermatologist.

Hi Tim,
1 2. Shelf life of CS is indefinite, if made with small particle size
and no additives.
I have 20L of light yellow 20ppm CS 2 yrs old, which tests the same now

sol stored in CLEAR glass containers made by Faraday 100

Hi Tim;
SCRAP all this nonsense about brown bottles or blue bottles.
I have some CS stored in clear 16 oz and 2 liter coke bottles from many
months and there is no change. I have even put some out on the south back
porch for three months and no change.
If the CS is made right it will not settle
