Josh: a simplified (one step) export option would be quite useful. I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'export' but perhaps by that you mean to embed the changes made to a skim file into the PDF from the Mac OS X file system. Backing up a little: Skim stores marks you make on the PDF in the

The embed AppleScript I posted a few days ago can be configured does exactly that. From the usage notes for pdf-to-pdf_embed.scpt: Reassign File:Close to another shortcut to close with Skim notes as extended attributes (the normal Skim save); and use cmdw for this shortcut. -- To reassign
