I'm trying to setup an epson 1670 as a network scanner on a fedora 7
server (please note I'm agnostic when it comes to Linux distributions).
So far I can scan locally on the server ie use scanimage -L.
The services has sane-port 6566 added
xinetd has been modified
But when I try to telnet to

Seiko Epson Corp. Perfection 1670) on Fedora Core 6 and allow network
scanning.

I'm having a small problem with getting Dapper to work with the
following scanner:
Bus 005 Device 003: ID 04b8:011f Seiko Epson Corp. Perfection 1670
All I get is the following error
failed to open device 'snapscan:libusb:005:003': invalid argument
Any suggests on where to start trouble
Some how during an apt-get upgrade, (see attached) I broken Firefox and
I don't know how to repair what has happened.
Any suggestions?

Little thing I've been playing with over the last couple of hours has
has been QEMU.
The success has been great until after loading windows (w2K), actually
getting windows to restart within Linux.
The issue I've had is restarting QEMU to find that the following occurs:
Booting from Hard Disk...
I have a friend who is in a small Law Partnership in the city, no more
then three legals.
Being a very small firm, their network intrastructure is basic.
Now the partners are reviewing were they are and where they want to be
the future.
Things like case and client management tools are being
/etc/printcap to that file (if you
actually need /etc/printcap. you should be using native cups support
where possible.)

I have change printers from Epson stylus 820 to a HP 8320 deskjet, at
the sametime changed from lpnr to cups.
It seems that applications and printcap file still reference to the
epson 820.
What changes should configurations should I do now?

ComputerBank have a small network project in the Newtown area for Street
kids next Saturday and another in Mudgee for a rural youth drop in
centre, scheduled for the first weekend in December.
