I'm having a problem un-installing rpms and building from source.
I have RH 8.0 installed and a few weeks ago did a force install and now
I think I have screwed my rpm db, I have tried rebuilding it but I
still get errors on building source and removing rpms.
Anyone got an idea on how to fix

I have a small problem with my machine. Executing "ps afx" will cause a
segmentation fault. This will only occur if the machine is on for a while.
It lead me to believe initially that ps cannot deal with how many processes
it running, but after thinking for more then 10 seconds I

1: If I typed a command that was intrinsic to the shell, fine.
2: If I typed a command that had to go to disk, find the program and load it
into memory, it segfaulted.
