Danny, When I did this I did it the other way around. Put Xp on first. Create an empty partition (fat32 is best) then install redhat to the empty partition. I used partition magic as it does resize ntfs partitions non destructively. Then using you favourite boot manager it should all

I've set up my first Linux only box at home. Redhat 7., kde the works. It's great and it has helped in getting a handle on Linux as a desktop machine. I boot this morning at the message comes up that either IRQ or io ports are incoreect for eth0 so no network. It worked on installation and I got

My new RH7.1 system works fine except it has placed lilo only on the boot floppy not on hda1. Wher can I find how to move it ? If I try and boot from hda1 I get onlt L. No windows on this box at all, hdb1 is the main drive. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Wayne -- SLUG - Sydney
