I disagree. I'd like to at least see what would happen if skegs were not allowed. Sure you'd still have guys overflying occasionally, but I don't think you have the carnage some envisage. Guys would learn how to fly an approach, and not having the skeg as a crutch would force better energy manageme

Guys - all this whining is getting to me. Look at the top 25 at Visalia, or SWC - these are ALL seasoned veterans. These were not some kids that picked up a modern composite sailplane that can't fail to get it's time and kicked butt! These are guys that have been around, and know how to SOAR. T
