Hi Regis,
Those chargers that employ purpose-designed NiMH algorythms is what I
would look for. Kinda tough to recommend any particular marque over
another.

Since the A4 was released, the charge protocol for NiMH has changed
significantly to better represent the characteristics of the cell chemistry. If
memory serves (I owned one, then ditched it) only the peak overvoltage was
dropped by a few mV as compared to the NiCD algorythm.

I purchased one of these kits and it did not include any hardware. It did
not include hardware to join the wing halves. The person that sold the kit
to me claims that Midway did not include hardware with some of these kits
because of the added cost. I find that hard to believe.

That's the probelm with employing a NiCD charger that peak-detects for NiCD
instead of NiMH. NiMH are endomthermic, while NiCD technology is exothermic.
This means as an NiCD becomes fully charged, the increase in heat causes an
increase in internal resistance, which lowers the charge V, which t
Charge rates @ C/1 are fine including your 's as long as the charger
algorythm is geared for NiMH, and not NiCD.
There seems to be some unfounded concerns about charging regular duty (consumer
or commercial grade) NiMH cells at anything < enough to put a small enough charge (C/10 or so) on

Mark,
Are you looking for microfilm or just a thin "indoor" film?

Been using the quad A cells in an XP3 for over a year. They will give ~ 45
minutes of flight time with a bit of a margin. Sirius 100 or Sirius Pro (on the
250 setting) has worked fine. Probably have over 100 cycles on them and they
still test OK. The Alpha is great but long waiting list.

Postal contests have been a major part of Free Flight, especially indoor.
You fly your model at a site near your home according to the rules of the
