Beautiful all-carbon NYX. Kevlar/carbon fuse, extra-stiff wing spar,
carbon skins.

Hi Rudy,
I brought this up last nite at the club meeting, in a round about way. I
tried building a Terminator-like HLG this year, based on the plans out on
Charles River's site (with wings from one of Paul's old ships).
I'm going to try and kick out club HLGs over the winter, see who I can get

They're low cost and they fly nicely. Who doesn't like flying a GL?

Hi all,
I'm considering the purchase of a Moebius F3J/F5J model. Seems like a
great value for a sport thermal glider.
Does anyone own one, or had any experience with one?
They no longer have the funky curled wingtips (thus the Moebius name I'm
sure), they've been replaced with winglets.

Our club has grown with the addition of electric flyers. A few rules
but electrics to the right of the winch and the sailplanes landing to
the left with no problems. Being in a public park we do not allow

Well, yes, but I believe the pilot admits to not being able to see the darn

I’ve been “away” from the mainstream for a few years now and thoroughly

immediately realized how much I miss both that type of flying and now
more importantly, the people.

I guess I'll throw my $0.02 in. RES as it is presently flown is a winddown
event for those that have been there all week. For those that come just for
RES, it might be different. The original intent of RES was to offer a class of
competition for function limited planes (read that non-molded).
Well stated JoJo...Not bad at all for a Norseman!
You've just identified some of the points that make RES a unique aspect of
the sport. It's a different kind of flying with a different approach and
strategy involved in order to succeed!
And I'm willing to bet, if you make it back here next year,
