I have read that there are some in the 1800Mah range that are pretty
reasonably priced, and can be had with a 1 hr charger. I would guess that
those can be fast charged no problem.
I've used HiTech servos for years in lots of airplanes - both powered and
sailplanes. I've never had a systemic failure of HS225 or HS85 servos. I
would not consider them inferior to a comparable JR or airtronics servo.
I did replace two HS85's in an Escape once when I blew out both aileron
servo
If you're interested - I've but these two items on ebay.
Both planes are RTF -minus receiver.
