On the other side of this coin (which I completely agree with, BTW) I have
many net-4801 units running flawlessly and haven't been rebooted in many
years. I anticipate they will last another 5 years unless the throughput
begins to exceed their capacity.

Mostly folks stay on this list to discuss alternatives. I suspect some may have
held out some hope for a bios workaround.
I guess I'm kind of disappointed that Soekris hasn't been more transparent as I
suspect they know exactly what's up with these boards.
