Where can I find some background on the boot drive sequence in the
comBIOS monitor, in particular with regard to USB booting?
This is mostly out of curiousity, trying to figure out what is going on
(and perhaps learning a thing or two in the process).
I just purchased a Soekris net6501, and
sed on the fact this is the second faulty SSD in that
slot, was apparently wrong.
Score 1 for fine Soekris net6500.
Score 2 for awesome ZFS system that once again saved my day
Score waste recycle center for defective Intel SSD
Score money for the shop where I'm buying a replacement :)

I've owned a Soekris net6501-50 since december 2011. I'm perfectly happy
with the device (used as a router at home), except that I seem to have
had some misfortune with my SSDs.
Originally, I only used a single SSD:
