can anyone provide a pesudo code or general approach on how to implement
a fullbody IK system (much like human IK system in Maya)? Or any links or
references? I got a few links from googling around but much of the links
are down.

I agree with Alan. If I were animating a character, I would like to just
move one controller at a time and have complete control on the key-poses.
Maybe, for some cases we might need to have more human-realistic body
motion but we have mocap for that, don't we ? Anyways, I think it can come
handy
it ;)
