The Mixer is still great and saves my bacon on every other production.

ffmpeg command line, but it's very simple. (he can do prores 422 and
too ;-) )
On windows I download Git https://git-for-windows.github.io/
(This gives you access to Git Bash so all the bash goodness from linux)
Then I download FFmpeg and place the ffmpeg.exe (
Well I've got to say that watching the launch event is actually very
inspiring.

Yeah.. there was an aura of passion and excitement about the presenters.
Allot of the other launch events for other products has a narcissistic
arrogance about them.
I hate those dramatic pauses you sometimes see just before they unveil
the next generation of totally redesigned worthless

I mentioned this over on the Modo beta forums, but it's also worth
mentioning here. Houdini is never going to be a replacement for a direct
modelling application because of the very nature of proceduralism. But
since H14 there has been a concerted effort to improve the direct modelling

fest every single day...

If it's bound to machine name and/or MAC address, you can change them to
make it work.
