I would reject your softimage pic files in any compositor on any platform :D Instead of putting the burden on ‘them’ why not reach a common denominator in file types, e.g. TIFF, PNG, etc.? Andy > On Apr 08, 2016, at 21:22, Olivier Jeannel wrote: > > Hi guys, > > Is

Houdini to headus UVLayout

Over the weekend I've hacked an HDA to bridge Houdini to headus UVLayout. I know some of you have used the Softimage to UVLayout Add-on in the past, so I hope you have use for this. Comments on implementation and improvements are welcome. Get it here: sidefx.com/forum/topic/49644/

Hi Paul, I believe the Edit SOP can create deltas, it should be in the manual. And store shapes as point attributes as you like. Same goes for the rest P attribute. Cheers, Andy On Mon 14. May 2018 at 11:35, wrote: > In soft, you can make a shape in Secondary shape mode

To be totally honest, that’s how I had to deal with Softimage/Arnold. I would sometimes only open a scene and have it crash for no reason. I could never say Softimage had been a robust experience. After moving to Houdini, it took almost two years to get rid of my fear to click the wrong thing
