I tried both with and without variables. This is
created when the sub-directory

idea how the contents is created.
The error message saying to check the path is not correct. The path is correct,
its just the contents is not there.

Looks like a problem within the XML and the definition for that patch.

as long as there are no error messages within the logs that there seems to be
an error with the jabber db, I wouldn't do anything with the db.
As I earlier wrote, I only had to repair the db once within about 3 1/2 years.

Hi Daryl,
the password fire jabber is stored in /etc/sysconfig/rhn/osad.auth, if I

The other thing is not enough permissions to delete the PID file.
Are you running osad as a non-root user?

Lose control?! OK... You're unable to run commands or install patches via
spacewalk. That's right. You either have a good backup of your server or you
have to re-register all clients to the new server.

Hi,
I would just take the exact kernel version of the "installer" kernel and
compile the Cisco module on another server (maybe virtualbox) for that kernel.
Then modify the "installer" initrd.
Unpack, put module in modules path (/lib/modules/...), run depmod on that path
and repack the initrd.

Hi Damien,
I think the first key is a generated key special for this kickstarted system.
Just as if you would like to "reactivate" a client. But I did not yet use koan

minute within an hour. As long as you don't start or restart rhnsd via cron,

or within which DB table to further track this down.

and I'm also pretty sure, that I was able to do further installations after
that.
But that was on spacewalk 2.2. I'll test this tomorrow with my new spacewalk
2.4 server.
