FWIW, the -T option actually does get a mention in the usage statement,
-Tnum where num is a float specifying maximum MH+ scan,

Here's what the problem was, the fomula is correct but I was using the
constants for the wrong charge state.
the spectra was a +1 but I was using the constants array position 1
instead of 0.
