You're gonig in the wrong way :
1 - Don't use patched pppd
2 - Don't use Speedmgmt
3 - Don't even think about using something
BTW,
If you use the RH 7.2 as delivered (kernel 2.4.7-10, pppd 2.4.4 ) and you
follow the instructions in the HowTo on installing the modem_run package and
the ppp config, you shoudn't encounter any serious problems, and you'll have
no need to recompile or patch the kernel !

pour moi je trouve impensable de payer 600 Fr de plus, pour avoir le

Je partage mon speetouch USB via une machine linux, deux postes
derriéres (1 win, 1 linux) aucun pobléme, pas de deconnexion (sauf celle

I just order an ADSL and it come with USB modem, I was wondering it's there anyway
that I can make it get connect on internet more than 1 computer, I know how to do it
in Ethernet Modem but not USB modem. can you please tell me if there is a way that I
can make it networking. thanks
