Steve,
Wheels off the following cars will fit without modification:
Spitfire
GT6
Herald
Vitesse
TR7
Morris Marina
MGF / MGTF (that's the new MGTF, not the '50s one!)
There may be others (such as MGB/MGC and MG Midget?), but I'm not sure. I

Back onto the subject of hot cars (rather than hot weather)...
Spitfires have a Voltage Stabiliser which takes the rather variable voltage
at the battery/alternator/generator and outputs a fixed 10V to supply the
gauges. If this dies then it will output the full 12-14V and the gauges
will read
Ward,
The voltage stabiliser only controls the voltage to the temperature and
petrol gauges, it does not supply the tacho or indicator. Furthermore, a
duff voltage stabiliser usually results in a high reading on those gauges,
not a zero reading (unless the wire has fallen off ;) ).
I'd check
We went over to see how the construction of the new house/garage with a
detached 4 car Tr garage was progressing and lo and behold a sure sign from
the great powers that be (trying to be politically correct ya know). . .as
I looked out of one of the upstairs room windows what do I see parked in

Neither those will work, MGB has a 4x4.5 bolt circle and the Midgets are
4x4. I also thought there was some work necessary to safely put on TR7
My 78 spitfire with catalytic converter suffers from cracks in the exhaust
manifold. I had it professionally welded up a couple of years ago, but it
broke into two pieces within about a month. Just recently I had to put it
back on for emissions reasons, so I did a quick weld up using my own
Howdy my Spit obsessed friends,

Shepherd Neame used to have the exception of not
exporting T's and other swag/schwagg items across the

Are you in the U.S.? In otherwords, have they lifted

As a father's day gift to myself, I worked on the Spitfire yesterday. I
replaced the radiator with one I bought from E-Bay and went to get the thing
started. Well, I got it running and it is seeking It will idle from
about 1500 rpm to 500 rpm and rhythmically fluctuated between these points.

George it is the best of both worlds :) Ya I need to get a big garage
myself...want to go half's? Hehehah I bought my Spit because I was getting
depressed not driving something British. My plan was to sell the Spit as
soon as the TR6 was on the road. Note that was before I drove in the
passengers

Roadster Factory and they said they don't sell anything for Spitfires.
Hehehehe I love the Roadster Factory but a lot of the stuff is on backorder.
It seems that they sell TR6 stuff mostly. I don't know how they are with the

Is anyone going to the vintage races at Mosport this year? The one where
Triumph is the key marquee?
If so, does someone have dates etc?
Thanks
