Hi Listers,
I spotted a white squaretail Spitfire on route 105 in Nova Scotia on Sunday,

Hi Listers,
Has anyone refurbed a hardtop recently?
I am having a hard time locating many of the rubber and trim seals needed to
rebuild my hardtop. Especially need the door window seals , the side
triangular window seals and the rear window seal. I would also deeply
appreciate any advice on ho

Thank you folks.

My Leyland Pubs Repair Ops Manual for my spit specifies 26-34 flbs for the
prop shaft to universal nuts/bolts, I would suspect it should be the same
for the half axles.

rear piece of pipe and the muffler where they should be. I would like to add
a 6 to 8 inch section to do the job properly. None of the local auto or
muffler shops carry pipe with a 1 5/8 inch diameter.
Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

I have found that the best tool for inserting the pin is a hollow plastic
tube of the type frequently used on department store shopping bags. Insert
the pin in the end of it . Once the pin is started into its home, the tube
can be pulled out.
Try it, you'll like it!

Well it's off to Mid Ohio tomorrow and I still didn't write the list of things
to bring.
Other than the LBC, what's the one thing I should be sure to bring?
See you all there.

the distance between the front and back holes will lengthen allowing
you to get the bolts started.
Do it carefully, remembering to block both the front and back wheels since
depending on jack placement either the front or back wheels will start to
leave the ground. Good luck.
