Many thanks to both of you for helping me.
Logging on directly to SN is no problem. Please also recall that I've
been ok using LMS in docker for almost a year. This began after the most
recent update of LMS. I'm not thereby saying that I think there is
something wrong with Michael's work. For me,
So, without knowing what Michael has seen (and is looking at?), next
thing I would try is a different Squeeze Network login, can you create a
test one to try?
It likely won't help. The blocking is based on the IP address. It might
help to re-start after you had been offline for an hour or more.
Cool, looks like it is working. Flac decoding to PCM on the qnap
server/LMS seems to work now !
Cool. Just keep in mind you might need to do this every time you update
LMS on your machine.
Would you know whether there's a Slim/Utils/OS/Custom.pm in SSOTS? If
so, you might be able to tweak i
Yeah, I see those log errors on that Docker image, they are nothing to
do with your problem.

This problem is not about perl itself, but about some helper binaries
like I mentioned (flac, faad etc.). As you're running a 32 bit Perl, it
would be looking for 32 bit binaries, too. But LMS does come with 64 bit
binaries. You just have to find the

If the OP already has a 2 disk Raid 1 NAS then the above is a retrograde
step. Use the NAS for its intended purpose and just run LMS on the Pi

I tried that version, and it did run ok - and as you said, no other
upgrades needed.

Oh, that's SSOTS? This comes with its own Perl version. I'm not sure how
this works. Maybe you could log in to it, try to find the LMS binaries

Well, just uninstall KIS, reboot and the problem is still here... Could
be some new win10 feature.

I've tried that earlier (it was one of my first thoughts), and it had no
effect then, and now I did it again and it has no effect now either. So,

as quick as I managed to Alt-Tab from LMS back to Docker to check -
which, I guess, is pretty instant.

I used the Larsks image from my local store.

One more thought... do you have the "mysqueezebox.com service handler"
