and it is showing that as installed on QNAPCLUB. No upgrade option. If
I click on the icon, it says the version available is V2.0.10

16/44 then you may well find that Phillipes Airplay plugin will give
you a much better user experience than upnp/dlna.
Upnp is a very poor protocol with little real standards applied.

After a lot of scrutiny (I even ran the sever with a year old harddrive
backup and updated ubuntu and LMS to the current status), the strange
solution to my problem was:
I needed to switch the "CSRF-Schutzstufe" in the LMS security settings
from 'medium' to 'off'- and the players
Was academic interest rather than for a specific deployment - field of
dreams style.
