In my normal use case, it's not viable, but that's not to say at other
times it couldn't be used.

Hello.
During playback from DLNA sources (e.g. Tidal) PAUSE is not working
correctly in LMS. When PAUSE is pressed playback stops (it si OK) but
after pressing PLAY (after Pause) playback skips to next track (fail).
This problem exists only if BrutefirDRC plugin is activated. Similary

I think I found the reason of my problem
In the server.log was a new entry:

unable to install Spotty - C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All

So I ticked the plugin, the LMS then tries to restart, but the
status-line tells me, that this does not work.
What status line? Is LMS not responding?
What OS are you on? What LMS version?

I never sent you a PR for the perl 5.24 armhf libraries with Audio::Scan
1.02, I only updated the binary package for pCP.
That would be great! Thanks!

Hello there!
I've just installed the newest build of the LMS (7.9.2) and wanted to
activate the "Spotty"-Plugin from Michael (Herger).
So I ticked the plugin, the LMS then tries to restart, but the
status-line tells me, that this does not work.
I cannot find anything strange in the server.log.
Michael,
I never sent you a PR for the perl 5.24 armhf libraries with Audio::Scan
1.02, I only updated the binary package for pCP.
I can do that if you wish.

Thank you, Michael, for your quick support!
I did the installation like I did it several times before. The
installation process stops the LMS und normally that works fine.
I don't know why this problem happend, but several re-tries fixed it ...
;-)
Bye, Claas
I can confirm,
after my WINDOWS 1809 Update, LMS was not reachable anymore. All
Firewall rules reset to default.
After performing an LMS Update, the firewall rules emerged again and LMS
is working again.
For the Shairtunes2Plugin I had to set up the Firewall rule manually
again.

Are you sure you CAN'T use a VPN ? Is it a technical reason or your
skill level ?
If you can open a port on your router and have a fixed ip address (or a
method to automatically find your

Probably limited, but I unfortunately fit into this category as I can't
use a VPN.
