Can't really help here, but although LMS > Settings > Information >
shows port 9000, Squeezer has no problem connecting using port 9090.

turning arround but never connecting to it.

I downloaded the entire ZIP file and then extracted that and browsed to
the subfolder.

Hi, it's Raspbian:
Code:
lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Raspbian
Description: Raspbian GNU/Linux 9.11 (stretch)
Release: 9.11
Codename: stretch
It is there
Code:
buildme.sh libpng update to 1.6.37 15 days ago
You might not have spotted it because of their unconventional choice to
not treat upper and lower case as the same ... so the lowercase stuff
comes after the end of the uppercase
I don't know if I'm losing my mind, but I didn't find buildme.sh within
that folder.
It certainly should be there. How did you download that folder?

I don't know if I'm losing my mind, but I didn't find buildme.sh within
that folder.
Am I missing something

hello there,
since i've updated my LMS to 7.9.2 for DSD support, i'm not able to make
Squeezer, nor Logitech Remote nor Squeeze Control working on Android.
the apps are trying to "connecting to SqueezeBox CLI at IP:9090"
any help here?
As the title suggests, the (embedded) cover is not displayed if ALBUM is
empty. While I don't know why anyone would ever willingly do that, the
cover should be displayed.
QLMS 7.9.2@2.04 x64 (digimaster) with perl 5.28 dedicated to me. :D /
QNAP 469L QTS 4.3.4
Thank you Paul and bpa for your responses!
The problem seemed to go away on its own, and I thought it had perhaps
been a networking hiccough. (The Squeezebox Classic that was out of
synch is in an area that would be difficult to run network cable to, so
I use wifi for that device. But it's also

Believe me, I have spent 12- hour days trying to work this out. Every
set of instructions seem to differ. And I don't have the knowledge or
technical skills to write a guide. Since it's always mentioned to use a
VPN, in big bold red letters nonetheless, it's an omission that there's
zero info,

This is a community forum - why not get your hands dirty instead of
asking others to do

Sadly they won't support this legacy product. They did initially when a
dac wouldn't be recognised but then when I had another problem (only
playing the first minute or so of each track) they tried and gave up and
said I needed to

I really wish there were detailed, updated instructions on how to access
via VPN or SSH tunnel.
I spent days reading (the wrong) instructions, finally managed to set up
a VPN server on my Asus router that exports a .ovpn file that you then
import into e.g. the Android OpenVPN Connect app. This
