I run the lmscommunity/logitechmediaserver version that Michael refers
to and recommends.
There are some good instructions posted 'here'

Hi, couple of questions I would like to have some answers to.
Firstly I have just recently set up an older Laptop with Linux Torin, my
other old Laptop is Windows 7 and I have been using that with my

I would like to now setup the Linux
On web interface PiCorePlayer shows squeezelite and LMS are running.
LMS shows two players: PiCorePlayer and Apple-TV
IPeng on the iPad shows three players: Apple-TV, iPad iPeng and

And all three of them show the same behaviour? What format are you
streaming (lossy or lossless)?
I have docker installed. What docker LMS container are you using for
LMS? I’ve heard of several versions. What version of LMS run?
Best support you get here for the lmscommunity/logitechmediaserver. It's
the "official" image. There are threads about it and Synology specifically.

Hi Greg,
Thanks for your message.
Right now I don't have a USB hub compliant with the RPI zero + the
USB/LAN adapter (micro USB connector), so I'm not able to connect the
adapter + a keyboard at the same time; and I can't connect to the RPI
(via ssh) so I don't know how to run the dmesg

I have tried all the different versions from the download page, but
could not get it installed on a QNAP TS-230 with a ARM Cortex-A53. Does
anyone know if there is a version that
Can you instal Docker on your Synology NAS? If so you can run an LMS
container within Docker. It works perfectly - no need to rely upon
Synologys versions any more :)

PiCorePlayer on Rp3 controlled from iPeng on iPad and/or iPhone. Using
player plugins.

If you want to keep using your Synology as a NAS then your best option
is a Raspberry Pi running piCorePlayer and LMS pointed at the files on
Synology.
Not very difficult to do at all.
See in Unix / Linux for piCorePlayer documentation

A bit error (e.g. data lost/duplicated/junk inserted somewhere) make
discordant sound where sound is totally unlike the rest of of audio on
either side of "error". If

The last few seconds of the prior track are not played.
I have that plugin but I am going to try changing the default 'Show

There is probably an easy answer to my problem which I have overlooked
but here goes: when using Advanced Search how can you look for tracks
which have not been played before? It seems that Play Count is only
added once a track has actually been played, which means that if you
search for
