Oh, I also noticed that there's a DVDPlayer plugin lies in the "Plugins"
TAB of LMS configuration webUI, but due to github is being banned by my
government, I couldn't download DVDPlayer

I just searched, and it lead me to github, but I don't know how to
install the plugin, https://github.com/LMS-Community/plugin-DSDPlayer

Looks like this could work, based on other threads in here, but any idea
on how to install?
Not enough memory available in root?

Hi
I have an Ultra4 and needed to install LMS 8.0.
So i did this:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS-in-Business/OS6-now-works-on-x86-Legacy-WARNING-NO-NTGR-SUPPORT/td-p/897021
That made it possible to upgrade to OS6 on my old NAS.
So no old version of LMS that I know of.

I don't think you should
@mrw, I have some dff type of files of some particular albums, when I
add it to LMS shared SMB folder, scanned it, when I play the album, I
can see the dff file is playing, but I can't hear any sound out of the
speaker. Do I miss something?

this is an interesting question that has been addressed a few times, and
I am not 100% clear myself. I have had to do exactly what you are doing,
plus, I have two systems at different locations that I wanted to be
identical. And who hasn't had windows brick? :). Part of the reason I
now run

The localplayer plugin uses a very old version of squeezelite, v1.6 I
think and it uses Visual Studio 2010 where all my builds are 2008 for
32bit and 2017 for 64bit.
So it's possible that MS has introduced a change to these Visual C
runtime dlls that is causing squeezelite to crash.

After updating to version '8.3.0'
I have been using LMS 8.2.1 on a Windows 7 laptop. I may still use it
on there sometimes, but my main use will now be on a Windows 10 laptop.
I plan to install LMS 8.2.1 on the W10 laptop.
I've read a few threads touching on this, but am unclear.
Which exact program files can I copy over
Sorry for the late response; I have a family member in the hospital so
was dealing with that for a few days. I'm not sure how to tell you what
version I have installed, in the LMS interface is just says
"Squeezelite" and I don't see a version number. It installed
automatically with the Local
Maybe others will chime in and say it is what they have been looking for
for ages and someone will get it done ... but I suspect that this might
be very useful to one person here.
In which case it would probably take some time to get to the top of a
list of things to implement.

Is is possible to configure LMS to add a (configurable) pause between
tracks in a playlist either natively or via a plugin?
I use playlists with both local and Spotify songs to help me practice
playing my bass guitar but I'd like to insert a small gap between tracks
to allow me to set up for

Does it work?
