LMS is a music center system. It helps you manage your music library and
search/play tracks, create playlists, access streaming services
Ugh!! Well, I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend! When do you
expect support for v5.34 and where can I find which versions of perl are
supported?
I usually don't plan these things. But when I see there's a need by more
than a hand full of users and I have time, I give it a try...

Think about why you installed LMS in the first place. What's the reason
for it?

If you want to use your player as if it is a regular squeezebox, you
need my bridge.
If you want to use the UI of your player to browse the LMS library, you
need Andys plugin.

Hi Michael
The latest update to 8.3 correctly identifies win11
Any ideas re my problem with Prevent System Standby?
You need the media bridge plugin - the 'bridge' plugins allow you to
play music to external renderers

This is perl 5, version 34, subversion 0 (v5.34.0) built for
x86_64-linux-thread-multi
We don't have support for Perl 5.34 yet. For the time being you'd have
to build the binaries yourself. See

Hello, all. I'll cut to the point.
I've got a Mac filled with FLAC files. I've got an Onkyo TX-8160 stereo
network receiver. I'd like to get the two wirelessly speaking to each
other via DLNA (since my wireless choice on that receiver is either DLNA
or Airplay). I've fiddled around with

I'm running Fedora 35 and 8.2.0 and have the same issue. I get 2
errors:
Image::Scale object version 0.14 does not match bootstrap
parameter 0.08 at /usr/lib64/perl5/DynaLoader.pm line 210.
Compilation failed in require at (eval 85) line 1.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at (eval 85) line 1.
I noticed something, perhaps it's helpful to those working on the code?
I'm on macOS Big Sur and left the setting in LMS Pref Pane on
Automatically Start Server at Login (previously I always used When
System Boots, but have been trying various things suggested here since
that stopped working.)

Image::Scale object version 0.14 does not match bootstrap
parameter 0.08 at /usr/lib64/perl5/DynaLoader.pm line
Thank you Paul. That's great. Stable now running

The problem I have encountered concerns the Prevent System Standby
plugin which no longer functions. It's always been fine before on win
I created a ticket to follow up with this, as I've seen it mentioned before:
https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/issues/746
Today after loading the latest nightly, it displays Win 11.
Impressive attention to detail, Michael!
Believe it or not: it was corporate tech support which came to me
wondering whether we supported Windows 11. Someone must have called them
asking, and they even cared to get the information
Yesterday mine displayed the same as reported by Cloud Atlas.
Today after loading the latest nightly, it displays Win 11.

Same for me - when I upgraded to Win 11 a few months ago, I noticed no
changes whatsoever in

Hi Michael, I have been running LMS on win 11 for a couple of months.
It's an ASUS low-power mini desktop PC and works flawlessly
Thanks Michael, just updated and os info now correct:
Operating system: Windows 11 - EN - cp1252
Nice, thanks!

Please can someone help me. In what
1. In PiCore I see the Select Branch options of Release; Stable and
Development. Is it as simple as selecting the branch and then "update
LMS"?
Yes
2. I assume Release is 8.2.0, Stable is 8.2.1 Development 8.3.0
Yes
3. Can I move freely between these branches or is there no going back
Some very basic things I hope some patient person will clear up for me.
I used to run LMS on Windows and was on the nightly branch, mainly out
of curiosity so would be quite comfortable updating LMS to the latest
version very frequently. It did go wrong a few times but I was able to
sort it
