I was hoping for an option to always sort year descending. Or add extra
sort options:
-Year desc,Album-
-Year de

Well, it is on my "might do one day" list (I also have Intel based
Synology NAS). But so far sticking to pinkdot's build seems the easy,
straight-forward and good
Not sure if it is your old version, but it IS very old.
I would try pinkdot's Synology build:

You might need to block your NAS to update to the future DSM v7 to keep
this working, but that goes for your old LMS776 too.
That is also my

That applies to me.
But even if you want that scan to happen occasionally, wouldn't it be
nice if you could control

There's also a plugin for Soundcloud. Some time ago I have used it
myself, so can't guarantee it still works.
And exactly how it works/worked, I don't remember either :-)

I truly wish webdevelopers had been more eager to support Edge than IE.
Edge has much better support of webstandards than IE. And it

Firefox is my daily browser, but just tried LMS with my MS Edge browser.
I don't know if there's a handy sticky post somewhere with all the good
links. I agree it's not easy to find if it exists.
Below are some links. For Windows you want the Windows Executable
Installer version (.exe file).
Latest "official community release", 7.9.1:

As far as I can see, you can find them all at:

I don't know what Triode's EDO is and you don't tell which Synology NAS
you've got. But I have LMS791 running on my Intel based Synology with
DSM 6.1. It works great. You can find a LMS791 changelist here:
In principle maybe slightly off-topic for this thread, but still thought
it was worth mentioning that Pinkdot recently found time to update the
LmsUpdate packages for X86_64 and Armada375. These include all LMS
commits up to and including December 22 (At the time of writing, this

Go for a 7.9.1 nightly instead. It has a couple of useful updates,
including some fixes for optimal Spotty functionality:

Officially they are "nightlies", but updates are few and conservative at
the moment. So consider 7.9.1 nigthlies just as
Just got curious and did a little more searching on the subject. I'm
assuming (and pretty sure?) that Logitech's current "official" nightly
builds for ReadyNAS devices, doesn't work on any recent Netgear ReadyNAS
models. But it actually sounds like you can install any .deb debian
package on the

I only remember seeing this when I open the Settings page/UI.
Interestingly, I don't see it right now. Maybe because Firefox in latest
version has changed how flash is handled?

Spotty is a plugin for your media server (Logitech Media Server or
SqueezeCenter as one of its previous names was).
Allright, I checked the traffic in my browsers Network log when allowing
Flash to be loaded, and I saw no .swf files being loaded when opening
Settings or looking a bit around in settings.
I have never worked with Flash or other browser plugins, but probably
there's a way you can check for

This is probably in the category of less critical issues, if it's an
issue at all.
But I have long time been wondering why LMS apparently try to run some
flash content when opening the Settings page?

I do not see any difference if I allow Flash content to run in the
browser, so maybe LMS
