But i think you're trying to install the x86 version, but you should
install the x86_64 version.
You could check it bij logon through ssh shell, and then do uname -m
where it will properly says x86_64

Started this beta where both had i686, because i686 also runs on a
x86_64, but not the other ways around.
Regarding the used version, thats some thing from LMS it self.
The x86_64 version uses around 100MB more memory.

After a lot off testing looking and investigations, found the trouble.
Its a missing file in you're /lib, which is causing this error.
On some older QNap system the Glibc libary is not compleet.
Working on a solution, so hopefully have a new version which will fix it
soon.

The latest version is v1.07.4, which has a lot off fixes regarding
serval issue's.

If you still have trouble, try this
Logon to you're Qnap by ssh shell.
Then do [ cd /share/*/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer ], [ chown -R

Just checked on my Qnap ts-453a, and yes there is a root user.
But it deactivated, i can not use it.
I would suggested do as they ask, make a backup from you're Cache en
prefs directory from the SlimServer directory.
Put them some where save, like in the download share.

No you done something in the SlimServer/ directory.
Do the chmod -R 0755 SlimServer/, and chown -R squeezeboxuser:everyone
SlimServer/ from the .qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/ directory.
Keep in mind when you in the structure off LMS ( the SlimServer/
directory ), to always do that before restarting

And don't know about you, but i'm very careful with my music
collection.
And when writing is set, it could corrupted you're music files.
