exponentially when I maxed out the RAM during the scan. So I bought

I think that's because LMS is downloading the plugin again (because it
failed before) if you open

But can you simply uninstall it? If there's an update available, it's
not listed anymore. You'd have to delete it from Cache/InstalledPlugins,
