Hey folks...
I've installed LMS a bunch of times over the years, and recently
installed a copy on my new HTPC (running Windows 10).
I recreated my favorites and playlists for this installation.
However, last night when I played a playlist, it would no longer play
the rest of the playlist. It
Hey folks...
So I ended up buying a Zotac. I like it, but yeah, it DOES get pretty
hot - runs 60 degrees when idle!
I'm currently running Kubuntu on it, and it's hosting my music
collection pretty well.
I decided, however, to eventually build my own fanless PC, probably
based on an mATX
Ok, it looks like ipv4 is working, I made a mistake there.
Anyway, I fixed a few things (my computer's hostname was aliased to
localhost in /etc/hosts, so I removed that line to make sure the
external interface would always be used).
I rebooted the machine, and the LMS logs show no networking

I've enclosed the log files here. Both the memory-eating issue, and the
client "Searching..." issue might have clues in them.

I'm running Kubuntu Desktop 18.04 (Ubuntu variant running KDE).
LMS the latest
Hey all, folks...
So I recently bought a small fanless PC (Zotac CI549) to run LMS on.
I wanted to run Linux on it, as that generally is faster and uses fewer
resources than Windows.
So I finally got everything set up, and when I set the media folders to
scan and pressed "Apply" on the web
Hi all!
For many years I've had LMS running on an HTPC I built, running Windows
7 x64.
This works fine, except I've been having some troubles with the computer
BSOD'ing a lot (at first due to a faulty stick of memory, but it keeps
doing it, possibly due to that memory being somewhat
Ok, I rebooted the computer and it stopped happening.
Very very strange...

I just tried to rescan my music collection. The collection is a
particular folder on one of my hard drives.
I got an error popup from "scanner.exe" saying there was no disc in my
DVD/CD drive.
Why would scanner.exe try to read my DVD/CD drive? This is the first
time I've seen this happen.
