Hi,
I've seen a number of posts for this problem and tried a number of the
suggesting but I'm struggling to resolve. I'm using LMS 8.3.0 on my
Readynas 212. From the scanner log in debug at the bottom of the file I
see this:-

Could there be a file-size limit of 1 GB in the code ??
I don't know. What platform are you on, and what Audio::Scan version are
you using (see Settings/Information in LMS)?

It seems that I managed to pinpoint the problem. Between my new
audiofiles there were some
My indexing problem has returned. :-(
Did you add any new music? Enable INFO logging for the server, and see
whether the scanner.log tells you the last file it tried to scan.

btw, do you know if there are any limitations to how big the .db files
can be ? the artwork.db is 720MB and the library.db is 390MB. the files
were smaller than the ones I deleted so it seems that a complete rescan
every now and then is a good thing to do.
I've heard of users with 600k+ tracks

Any suggestions welcomed. I dont want to run a complete reindex (if i
can avoid it..) as it takes 1,5 hr to complete.
I'd start by shutting down LMS. Then delete artwork.db and re-run a
scan. You could enable logging for artwork before you run the scan. It
might give you a hint about where it
I have rebuilt my Ubuntu 20.04 LTS server after hardware crash and
reinstalled everyting from scratch. Initial indexing ran without any
issues and rescans have been running without problems up till today.
Now artwork indexing fails (and continue to do so after rebooting)
Discovering
disk is full as the log states , is something to investigate .
How small is the system drive ?

The error says it all: your database image is malformed. Shut down LMS,
delete library.db, restart.

What's your memory configuration in Settings/Advanced/Performance?
It was set to "Maximum". I tried "Normal" and the problem was solved.
The scan took a little longer but it ran through without Problems. Thank
Did you try "High", too?
Do you have swap enabled?
Is it a LMS or a raspbian

you for the hint. I have to remember to set it to normal before

Maybe someone could help with a problem with the media scanner:
Regardless of choosing "Looking for new and changed media files" or
"clear library and rescan everything", the scan does not finish. The
scan runs till "Database Optimize (1 of 2)", then the server doesn't
respond for a few
I had this problem (media scan terminated unexpectedly), and had a good
read of this thread.
I searched through recent additions to my music, and found a folder with
a .mov file as well as numerous .jpgs files (it was a download). I
deleted the .mov and all the extra .jpgs and then cleared the
