I got it to work... by happenstance. I tried the suggestions above (thank you, both), but they didn't work for me. In the meantime, my hard drive crashed. Once I was back up & running with a new drive, I reinstalled Windows 10, reinstalled LMS 8.2.1, and voila!... the library scanned. Thank

As @GaryM says, but start LMS (you might want to install the current 8.2 version) and go into LMS Settings rather than using the Control Panel. Depending on the skin you use the music folder is specified either on the Basic Settings tab (Default skin) or Settings -> Server -> about half way down

Running LMS 7.9.3-1597753178 on Windows, I'm unable to change the Media Source location from its current Path to what I need it to be in order to find my CD library. It is currently set to D:\Tim\Music, but after a hard drive replacement, all of my CD files are now in D:\OneDrive\Music. On
